Dr. Battista was prompt, on time and considerate of me and his other patients that were in the waiting pre op beds next to me. he was polite and clearly explained to me everything he was going to do without being in a hurry to get to the "next bed." He asked me if I had any questions and actually consulted with the anesthesiology team with me as part of the discussion as to which procedure he was going to perform first. I felt empowered and a big part of the decisions that were being made about me. It was nice to be a part of the discussion. When the surgery was over, Dr Battista was the first person to greet me in the recovery room. Perhaps by coincidence but all the same, he took the time to speak with me about how the procedure went and what to expect. he ALSO spoke with my significant other separately. I can not speak highly enough about Dr. Battista. A+

First time we met with Doctor was fantastic! Today was horrible! We got in 40 minutes after our appointment time and there was no quality of time spent with my son because the doctor wanted to go to lunch! My son has a mallet fracture and is only 16, still growing and I want to make sure he has full function of his finger in the future! The doctor said we don’t need to come back! Extremely disappointed

Dr. Battista did an excellent job reattaching my tricep tendons to my elbow after being hit by a car. Even with a roughly 6 inch long incision, after 5 months, you'd be hard pressed to see it. Strength is returning, and I've had full range of motion for several months now. I can't thank the OAA staff enough.

He did not listen to the reason for my first visit and immediately sent me for testing on an unrelated issue. I didn’t even realize the visit was over but was sent to schedule another appointment. At the second appointment he breezed over the real issue again until I made it clear that I was not there for what he was talking about. Even then I barely got information or treatment. Very frustrating.

I was 100% satisfied with my appointment with Dr. Battista. He was very knowledgeable, explained the possible diagnosis, testing required & what would occur next. I found Dr. Battista to be friendly, informative , concerned and he definitely deserves the 5 star rating. Thank you Dr.

I was very please how with how the doctor informed me about what issue I was experiencing and how to treat. I was able to feel relief straight away. My only call out was the wait time, once I was checked in, and in waiting for the doctor, it was 55 minutes before he came in. I understand not every appointment goes as planned and he did apologize for the wait. Everything else about the experience at OAA was very good, I would recommend to to family and friends.
