I went to Dr. Bassett for a second opinion. I'm so glad I did because he explained that I didn't need a hip replacement despite what the previous physician said. He explained my x-ray results in detail and did a range of motion exam. Since my issue is back related, he referred me to a spine specialist and physical therapy. He is a great guy and his staff is sweet and friendly.

Knowledgeable and explained options.
Answered my questions. Felt a bit rushed but it was the end of the day and the office was very crowded.

Though my MRI and xray had been sent to him, he had not read my MRI upon my visit. I had to tell him he had it and he left the room to review it. The MRI revealed that what he thought he saw on the xray was not there. Also had to tell him that my lumbar was also part of the imaging, not just hips. Knowledgeable but unprepared and made me feel I was just a number.
