Dr. Richard Bassett started his career as a physical therapist and enjoyed working with patients who had hip and knee replacements, so he decided to go back to school to specialize in hip and knee arthroplasty as an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Bassett enjoys seeing his patients improve their function and daily activities with less pain.

In his free time, Dr. Bassett enjoys following the stock market. He likes boating and snow skiing with his family as well as watching his children in their sporting events.
Dr. Bassett is great. He is kind, caring, compassionate, in addition I like his sense of humor. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He did my right hip and I couldn't of asked for a better doctor. With his vast experience he is top notch. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.
