Dr Rebecca Salvo, M.D., is native Californian, born and raised in La Canada Flintridge. She studied economics with pre-medical tract at Haverford College where she played volleyball and was a 4 time all American. She then went to complete a post-baccalaureate at the University of Pennsylvania while also doing clinical research at the Penn Scheie Eye Institute. She then attended Philadelphia college of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school and then was able to move back to California to complete her internal medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where she was a chief resident.

Dr. Salvo has a great bedside manner! I met her before my colonoscopy and she couldn’t have been nicer! When the day came, she talked with me right before the procedure and was very sympathetic to what I had to go through beforehand. I was very happy that she came in after and explained the results. I highly recommend her!!
