Dr. Lance is great. His office is short staffed and hasn’t responded to my concerns about a bad urinalysis test and possible bladder infection.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lance since 2020. Our current relationship is quarterly monitoring for changes, and we are able to do this over the phone.
I like Dr. Vance, however my most recent experience wasn't great. I visited Dr. Lance on August 1, and my lab results were posted on August 4. The resukts showed that in a 3 month period, my already high PSA of 5.4 jumped to 10.6. I had many questions about the concerning results, so I called leaving a message that I would like to speak to someone on the care team. The person informed me a call back could take up to 72 hours. When I hadn't heard in 84 hours, I called again. The person elevated the importance of the call and later that day I heard back from a nurse who said the doctor had not reviewed my results yet. When I asked when I could expect a response from him, the nurse only said he would contact me after he had reviewed the results but could give no approximate timeline. Now 10 days later I still have not heard back from Dr. Lance. I expected him to contact me much sooner as I wait wondering if my prostate cancer has spread.
