Dr. Janagama is wonderful. She has a great manner with her patients and their families. She takes the time to explain things to everyone involved & makes sure there is understanding. Since moving to the area 5+ years ago, this is the only place I have taken my son to the pediatrician. She is very thorough with exams and takes care to make sure referrals, prescriptions, forms, and documents are all complete and correct. Also, I can see she puts in a lot of effort with with students in residency, providing them with learning opportunities and practical skills. I would absolutely recommend her practice to friends and family.

Following her training, Dr. Janagama dedicated five years to serving as a Pediatric Hospitalist in Eastern North Carolina and at Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center. She later relocated to Raleigh to be closer to her family and joined the team at Kidzcare, Sanford location in September 2018.
Dr. Janagama holds board certification in Pediatrics and has a genuine passion for working with children. Her areas of expertise and special interests include Asthma, ADHD, and Newborn care. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending her spare time cooking, traveling, and practicing yoga.
