I would have liked to have met him before I went into the OR. It bothered me that I hadn’t met him. The surgery went very well. Pleased with the outcome.
After graduating from UCLA with a double major in biology and psychology, Dr. Joubran attended medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. From there, he trained in internal medicine in Indiana and gastroenterology in Louisville, Kentucky, with advanced training in interventional pancreatic and biliary diseases. Dr. Joubran has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and has given lectures at the local, regional and national levels. He’s achieved quadruple-board certifications in internal medicine, gastroenterology and geriatrics and is the only nutrition board-certified physician in Wyoming.
Dr. Joubran has now been in Wyoming for 13 years and has clinics in most counties in the state. He’s on the board of multiple surgical centers and is a staff member at multiple hospitals across Wyoming. He has strong interest in negotiating with insurance companies for a more efficient, cost-effective healthcare system. Dr. Joubran is proud to be a citizen of a state where “a handshake remains stronger than any written contract.”
Dr. Joubran enjoys spending time with his three young children and exploring the outdoors. He speaks four languages and has visited all seven continents but feels at home in the Equality State.
“The more I travel, the more I realize how lucky we are to live here in Wyoming,” he says.
Unfortunately he was really busy, I didn’t get to see him.
