Dr. Ramsey specializes in adult orthopedic reconstructive surgery with expertise in hip, knees and shoulder preservation, as well as partial and total joint replacement and complex revision surgery. His experience includes rapid recovery and outpatient techniques. He takes a minimally invasive direct anterior approach for total hip replacements, which allows for a faster recovery by sparing muscle.
Dr. Ramsey is a Jacksonville, NC, native who is proud to provide orthopedic care to his community. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family fishing, hunting, surfing and traveling.

I met Dr. Ramsey yesterday for the first time at my Pre-op appointment. I knew how busy he is, but I was extremely impressed with the time he took to listen to my concerns and give me through answers. He made me feel like I was the only patient on his schedule all day.
