Dr Yee is the BEST!!! He did total knee replacement on each of my knees 3 months apart. I am now 8 months and 5 months out have have no pain and 130 degrees range of motion in both of my knees. I'm going snow skiing this winter and owe it all the Dr Yee and his fantastic team and staff!!!

Initial visit - not much interaction but the overall experience was a positive one.

My husband had a follow up appointment today 11/19/2021 after having meniscus repair of both knees. When Dr. Yee walked in I said to him I don't think you did any surgery on my husband, you just put in stitches! He turned very seriously looked at me. I laughed and said my husband did great from day one. He laughed and joked back at me. My husband did fabulously, no pain or swelling, was outside that first day trimming our tree and bushes..No need for PT....BEST ORHO DOCTOR..I will use him if ever needed. You can tell he's incredibly busy. 12 surgeries in one day. He is quick when he can be but his assistants take the time to do the longed explanations and they are extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Yee took the time necessary to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable and approachable. He did my shoulder two years ago with a fantastic result. Now, the knee is next.

Today was my two week check up for my left knee total knee replacement surgery. I did what Dr Yee asked of me and I have been walking on my own for the past 10 days and off pain pills after two days. I'm able to walk up and down stairs with one foot ahead of the other and the pain and swelling has a little ways to go but has gone down significantly. Staples came out today and I have been rehabbing at outpatient therapy for the past week and will continue to do so along with using the CPM knee machine for 4 hours a day. To get good results you have to put both time and effort in which I have. I'm set to have my right knee replaced in 3 months and there is not another Dr I would even consider. Dr Yee is amazing and a straight shooter! Thank you Dr Yee, PA Tiffany, Pa Skip, MA Joy!!! His entire staff is the complete dream team!!!

He's either a genius or an idiot. Spent less than a minute with me and diagnosed a "frozen shoulder." Wanted me to ask my family physician for a referral for an MRI for my neck because if he ordered it, the insurance wouldn't cover it. He did order an MRI on my shoulder. He's personable but I really don't know if I want someone who does not talk to me and carries on a conversation the entire time with another doctor or whomever came in the room with him. So, I can't say whether he was a good doc or a quack. Time will tell as I'll give him a second visit, if he retains me as a patient after reading this.

This place is a factory, but I knew that going in so I wasn't upset. Very little personal interaction with Dr Yee, more so with Phys Asst. Review I read while researching said Dr Yee is a "doorframe doctor" and that is not far off. On the plus side, availability and short notice appointments are pretty available.

First time meeting him, I felt like he didn't even understand my problem, didn't know what issues I was having. He never examined me, or my problem areas, just looked at the x-rays and made a.determination. How could he know if my area was enflamed or swollen and it seemed like he did not really care much...Referred me for an MRI which could take weeks, told him I was in pain so he have me a sample of some medication that would last one day, and can't be filled at regular pharmacy... Don't even know if my insurance would cover what he gave me... I appreciate fact that they got me in at my scheduled time, and I was done in 15 minutes...I just don't see how that translates into doing a through job to fix my problems.

Dr. Yee's back must be sore with all the patting it gets. Excellent shoulder surgery recovery thus far. I didn't require any pain meds beyond one week post-op. The Flex Mate and SAM Sport presumably helped with a speedier recovery, or it could all be due to Dr. Yee and his team.

Dr. Yee has been taking care of my knee’s for over 71/2 yrs. Every time I go to therapy following a procedure. When I tell the therapist who did my surgery they have always said the same thing.. Yee’s patients always recover fast without any complications. I sometimes wish he spent more time in the exam room speaking to me but, when it comes down to it there’s no other surgeon I would trust in the operating room. As for any paperwork or answers pre-op joy is amazing. She will be there for you and will have the rediciulous amount of paperwork your employer/ insurance company will ask for.

I didn’t feel like Dr. Yee came in and knew my chart. His comments were not on the same page with the discussion I had with his junior MD staff who visited with me before Dr. Yee came into the room. His time with me was very short, only 1-2 minutes maximum and he too easily suggested that we pursue surgery on and injury that has no tears. I felt very disappointed at his lack of bedside manner with me, the fact that he didn’t seem to know my chart and my discussions with his staff, and the fact that he so nonchalantly and effortlessly went to surgery as an answer to my minor problem.

On point. Personable... interested in my work and what brought me to his facility. Pretty confident that he will fix my shoulder injury.

I trust Dr Yee’s knowledge and have received quality care. He sometimes seems a bit rushed though. I would give him 5 stars if he would make sure all questions are answered before he moves onto the next appointment.

Dr Yee is probably a great surgeon. Not exactly the best best in terms of bed side manner, but who cares. As with any orthopedic practice, you’re treated like a number. His front office staff is mediocre at best. They over-book, make you wait, look at at you like you at you like you have three heads, barely see you as just another human. Pretty standard by US medical standards, but certainly not unexpected. Try waiting on hold for 25 minutes just to get a refill on meds, get cut off, then re-dial and wait another 15 minutes. That’s good customer service, let alone medical care? Don’t think so. Sorry, wish I could recommend the surgeon, not the practice.

exceptional doctor

I have know Dr. Yee for 13 years. He performed a very successful knee surgery on me. When my child started complaining of pain from a sports injury, I didn’t hesitate to take her to Yee based on my experience. I have to say, his bedside manner has deteriorated significantly. He spent 60 seconds in the room and never touched her. I’m an RN and I know poor, rushed bedside manner. Patient education was non-exsistant. Additionally, he had his mask around his neck, and blew his nose mid visit and never washed his hands. Not acceptable during a global pandemic. Disappointed in him and the office staff.

Great experience. Even with his workload, and schedule, i felt like he was interested in excellent results and wanted to get me fixed. I will definitely use him again!

Dr. Yee is a Miracle Worker. I have suffered with terrible pain on my left knee from arthritis and a ski injury for a long time. When I was referred to him, I was in excruciating pain. Even pain pills stopped working. He performed a meniscectomy, and prescribed P T. I am truly grateful. I feel 100% better. I have the highest regard for Dr. Yee. I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time. When Dr. Yee came in, I had about 5 minutes with him to discuss my knee problem. He prescribed physical therapy and a bone density test and hurried out of the room. He didn't physically check or test my knee. Maybe he didn't need to, but I didn't have a chance to ask questions. Has your office become a medical mill just pushing as many people through as you can every day?

Nice Dr...but he seems to always be in a hurry. Seems to be leaning toward door as soon as he comes in and sits down.

Dr. Yee was perfect. I felt very comfortable with him and his knowledge. He made me feel as if the issue I have is not an issue that can’t be repaired. I didn’t feel the same for nurse that takes you to the room. She was bad.

He spent 3-4 minutes with me and then left. Did not explain someone would do the shot. I felt “herd” one spot to another! High volume turnover

Dr. Yee has taken care of my knees for at least the past 7 years. He did my first knee replacement Jan. 2018. Just did the other knee replacement Aug. 12, 2019. I have been very pleased with the results of both surgeries.

I like the Dr. I was disappointed he didn't come see me on person after my procedure at the surgery ctr instead of his PA. I like her too. Even in recovery or in my room. No show. I understand he's busy, but that effort goes with the title Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr Yee for over 4 years, I don’t know if he was just having a bad day yesterday on my appointment or he has just forgotten his bedside manners. His response “it’s your knee” to a question to me was unacceptable.

Dr Yee is outstanding and he has a great team. He has repaired both my shoulders and a knee. I highly recommend Dr Yee.

The dr need to field the patient is very important and confidence , take mor time is not like 3 second and go , thank you

Exceptional skill and patient interactions. Provides time for patient to ask questions and to understand treatment/surgery, Caring and has a sense of humor.

Biggest disappointment ever!! Dr. Yee is almost bi-polar. He is laughing and joking one minute, then arrogant and aggressive the next. He told us one thing, then denied it and became belligerent when called on it. Will not go back -- ever!

As you know, Dr. Yee has zero people skills. He runs in, mutters something, runs out. Even though several assistants came and went, I never got questions answered that I had when I arrived. Frustrating

A bit more personal interaction with the patient would be better.

The doctor came in asked questions and I gave answers and he was gone so fast. I did not get to ask what is the Nex steps.

He seemed to be in a hurry to get me out of there. I spent more time with his assistant than him. No bueno.

I had an apt at 2:30 I got an X-ray, cortisone shot and I was walking out the door at 3:20. Dr. Yee is amazing!!

Nice Dr. I feel he needs to spend more time with patients. And tell them what to expect with procedures. He didn't nor did his PA explain what my replacement would include. Pre or Post op. I wish he would of come to talk to me post op.

Dr Yee needs to spend more time with his patients. He’ll rush in and then talk fast and then he’s out. You’re lucky if he spends 5 minutes with you if that! He’s good but spends no time with you. He doesn’t review your chart just a sheet of paper.

He zipped in for 3 minutes, gave a rote 3 minute speech about shots now, eventually knee replacement, went next exam room and gave same 3 minutes. Felt like an assembly line.

Briefly met Dr. Yee. Very polite and pleasant fellow. Good handshake too! I like a good handshake. His staff was wonderful and attentive to my needs.

Made an appointment to speak to Dr Yee but instead saw the PA. Then Dr Yee came in and said two words to us then basically escorted us out. Never had a chance to ask a single question. Horrible service!

I have had numerous surgeries and ancillary injuries that are required attention by an orthopedic surgeon. In all of those interactions, the physician has conducted a physical examination of the area in question. Today, no exam was conducted at all.

He was very personable, but other than shaking my hand, he never touched me to examine me or confirm the PA student's and my own diagnosis. I'm glad he agreed to scope my knee. I guess it's sort of a double edged sword.

A bit brief, but Joy his helper did a great job of explaining things that he didn't!!LOL!!

I am on a assembly line and they know it. I was told i have a broken toe because of the xrays. I have called twice to find with which toe or toes. No answer. Dr. Yee may be the best but he should take some time to watch patch adams.

Drove all the way to a distant location for a follow up visit to see the doctor, got charged yet another $40 deductible just to hear that now I need MRI which I knew I needed before the first visit. Just feel ripped off.

Wonderful doctor!!!

Got a infection in my knee surgery. He was concerned after I left the hospital and put me on antibiotics. The incision is not straight and has a pucker at the end with a bump of tissue. I had drainage weaping for over a week which slowed my recovery.
