I am confident I am going to see the right doctor for my spine conditions. Having that trust is supremely important, especially with the spine. I’m able to review our conversation and listen again to any detail I may need in the future by watching our video. I believe, after talking with him, that he has likely saved me from doing inappropriate procedures with another doc. Thank you!

I was truly at the end of my line with hope and in spirit with awful debilitating pain built up over 5 years before my introduction to Dr. Porter, I am a firefighter of 20+ years which has had me lifting heavy objects and very heavy people and have played rugby up until i was 40 so I have been tough on my body. I went into Dr. Porter barely able to walk, he asked for more mri’s and Xray which at the time sent me into deeper depression however he was advocating for me and he discovered my back was wrecked and both hips were done with one collapsed already. He then sent me to his recommended orthopedic sx who was fantastic, they collaborated to 3 surgeries in under 4 months! I went from a broken cripple at 55 looking 85 and 5 months after Dr Porter’s fusion and the Orthopedic (doctor Gough I have to give him recognition) I am going BACK ON THE TRUCK! I feel incredible and have a new life that won’t be wasted, Thank you Dr. Porter and thank you to his staff, especially Jazmin! THANK U!

Dr. Porter is the BEST of the best! He performed a 5-level neck fusion on me four months ago and I couldn’t be happier with the results. No more debilitating pain, my range of motion is better than prior to my surgery and I’m regaining strength in my right hand that had been severely impacted by nerve damage from my neck that was basically collapsing on me.
On top of being a phenomenal neurosurgeon, Dr. Porter is an even better human being; he’s kind, sincere, and I know he would never push a patient to have surgery unless he truly felt he could help them.
I was not a simple case, as I had survived a stroke a year and a half prior to my surgery, I required an extremely skilled, confident and courageous neurosurgeon and, that’s exactly what I got. To say, I would recommend him is an understatement. So, Thank you, Dr. Porter for giving me a quality of life back that I thought was long gone. God Bless you!
