At Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA located in Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida, Dr. Khant strives to provide quality care to all of his patients. He received his training in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases at Christ Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Khant has been in practice in the Tampa Bay Area since 1986. He is one of the pioneers of Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA. Dr. Khant served as Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at Brandon Hospital for four years. In addition, he’s served on the Board of Directors at Brandon Hospital, the Board of Directors of Brandon Area American Heart Association, as well as several different committees. In 2010, Dr. Khant was awarded physician of the year at Brandon Hospital.His special interests are clinical cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, cardiology research, coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, and stents.
