In addition, he’s served on the Board of Directors at Brandon Hospital, the Board of Directors of Brandon Area American Heart Association, as well as several different committees. In 2010, Dr. Khant was awarded physician of the year at Brandon Hospital.His special interests are clinical cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, cardiology research, coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, and stents.

He is the best he saved my life 23 years ago as I had a narrowing of 97 and 96% on my om/cx and as a result he advised me to have my 6 siblings to get checked and as a result 5 of my siblings had a narrowing in the exact same artery bottom line he saved my life as well as 5 of my siblings so we all owe a debt of gratitude to this wonderful Doctor who always greets me with a smile I highly recommend him.
