He is one of the pioneers of Bay Area Cardiology Associates PA. Dr. Khant served as Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at Brandon Hospital for four years. In addition, he’s served on the Board of Directors at Brandon Hospital, the Board of Directors of Brandon Area American Heart Association, as well as several different committees. In 2010, Dr. Khant was awarded physician of the year at Brandon Hospital.His special interests are clinical cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, cardiology research, coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, and stents.

Very thorough and pleasant
I've been seeing Dr. Khant for around 10 years. He provides timely appointments and his advice on care and medication has been spot on. He is very thorough and corresponds with specialist providing other care.
Love Dr. Khant! Very patient and answers all my questions and concerns. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Khant and I believe he cares about me and all his other patients.
Very pleasant and thoughtful person, also knowledgeable about your health care. Always answers questions and explains his view.

Dr. Khant is great. He takes his time with patients and really looks to be helping patients get better in the healthy way possible.
Dr Khant was very kind when he told me it was time to think about having surgery; however I wish he hadn’t referred to my age as “old”
