Ramkrishna Surendran, MD

Dr. Ramkrishna Surendran, M.D., brings nearly 20 years of medical experience to Rochester Primary Care, where he has practiced since 2003 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, and completed his residency at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan, now known as Doctors Hospital of Michigan.

Dr. Surendran leads a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)–certified practice, focused on building long-term patient relationships through coordinated and comprehensive care. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and treats patients of all ages, from children to seniors, with an emphasis on continuity of care and preventive health.

Dr. Surendran’s clinical interests include family medicine, pediatrics, and preventive care. He also has continuing education experience in internal medicine, as well as X-ray and Radium Physics, which enhances his diagnostic capabilities. Patient education and shared decision-making are central to his approach, ensuring individuals are actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
