I have 32 years of medical history that’s relevant to my heart health, but instead of engaging with that history, I felt like my age was treated as the whole story. Every time I tried to bring up a concern, I was rushed or interrupted before I could even finish explaining what was going on.
For something as important as heart health, I need a doctor who listens to my full picture and not one who makes assumptions based on how old I am and brushes off the rest.
