Dr. Pandarinath’s approach is to focus on each patient as an individual, assess their unique issues and goals, and come up with a customized plan to return them to their desired activities. He works in collaboration with a team of physical therapists, nurses, and athletic trainers, and believes in a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients. He takes care of a variety of problems, including shoulder (rotator cuff disorders, instability, arthritis, clavicle fractures, shoulder separations), hips (stress fractures, hip impingement), knees (ligament injuries, patellar instability, ACL/PCL/MCL/LCL tears, cartilage restoration, complex knee surgery), and ankles (Achilles ruptures, ankle sprains). He also does general orthopedic care as well as fracture care.
Dr. Pandarinath is a native of North Carolina, and attended Duke University for his undergraduate education, followed by medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his orthopedic residency at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and did a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, where he worked with athletes at all levels, including professional (Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, Phillies) and collegiate (St. Joseph’s University).
In addition to his orthopedic practice, Dr. Pandarinath is also active in numerous national societies, including AAOS (American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons) and AOSSM (American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine). He is on various national committees and has published research that has been presented at national meetings.

My questions concerning the problem were addressed. Good news to know it was not a rotator problem, but only tendinitis requiring a bit of PT.
The doctor was very professional and very attentive to my concerns especially my pain. I would recommend him to everyone and will be satisfied to see him again. He was very straightforward to what my pain was coming from. Again thanks to his professional support.
I really liked him as a doctor! He really listened to me, he had a lovely bedside manner, he was humble suggesting another doctor in the practice who specializes in platelet injections which he does not. He did not push surgery, he was just lovely and helpful and quick to boot! I’m so relieved to have found my new orthopedist after 20 years of searching!
Not clear how to follow up Didn't get written directions and I just emailed to ask. Also it seems to be the office didn't call my pharmacy and I needed to take the prescription ASAP
Listened, helped and I appreciated the meeting him and our visit!
Personable and professional, as.well as a great surgeon.
Verynice, let me talk and explain problem
Looked over my previous x ray MRI before he came into the room so he was prepared. He answered my questions and took care of what needed to be done.
Knowledgeable professional!
Great visit. Wish they’d still use a “model” 3D to explain the injury but that’s just how I learn. His assistant was outstanding. Thorough. Upbeat. Clear. We were partly trying to figure out where my September MRIs were.
