He is okay as a doctor goes but his staff is it patient friendly nor do they pay attention to detail. We had to take a day off work, which means no pay, and and I didn't need the appt! His staff mixed it up And called in a change for monthS from now to closer. Could not have Ny emotion How but they don't pay my bills. His staff turns over quickly.

Dr. Raj N. Parekh, M.D., was drawn to the pain management field through a desire to build long-term relationships with his patients and see their progress over time.
He joined the National Spine and Pain Centers Hagerstown office in August 2019 after completing his pain management fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland College Park and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Over the past decade, Dr. Parekh has noticed a tremendous surge in technological advancements in the pain management field particularly in neuromodulation. “While no one specific device or technology will work for all patients, steadily growing progress allows many patients to benefit from these technologies,” he said.
Dr. Parekh’s main goal when working with patients is to tailor personalized treatment plans that are specific to their goals and needs. He listens to his patients and uses a multimodal approach for treatment that addresses the pain from various pathways.
“I have the privilege of working along side patients as they move through their journey of chronic pain and ultimately obtain pain relief and improved function,” he said.
In his down time, Dr. Parekh can be found taking part in recreational activities such as playing basketball and tennis.
