He is a robotics trained surgeon and urologist, and he is joining us after relocating his practice from Atlanta. Dr.Raj’s other interests include prevention and management of kidney stones, minimally invasive treatments for BPH, and female urinary incontinence.
Dr. Raj received a prestigious Gold Medal for his academic excellence in surgical training. He completed medical school in southern India followed by surgical training at Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He completed urology residency from University of Miami, FL.
He has dedicated two years of his prime time for clinical research in Urology at the University of Miami. He has published numerous journal articles on topics related to the treatment of prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancer as well as kidney stones. His work has been presented at several national and international conferences.
Dr. Raj is known for his humility and patient-friendly approach. He believes and practices that excellent outcomes are achieved through effective communication and patient understanding of their condition and treatment options. He is a strong believer of the saying “I dressed your wounds, God healed them”. He is currently active as a urologist in Inverness, FL.
