Very personable and thorough. I loved the fact that he didn't default to surgery but rather explained all options and developed a long-term plan.

Waiting time was ridiculous! 2 H 45Min wait for first consultation. I’m sure he’s a great doctor, but making patients wait 2 hours and 45 minutes is unsatisfactory to me. I rather he sets appoints 20 minutes apart instead of 10 minutes.
I’d give him 5 stars if it wasn’t for tge wait.

Very kind and thorough. He is the first surgeon to call me at home the night before the surgery to see if i needed anything or had any questions, I’m very impressed!

Dr Deshmukh is very thorough and when i got to see him, the visit was quick. I didnt need to do imaging or a brace a different day as they were quick to receive authorizations from my insurance and help me. He and the staff at Southeast Ortho always seem genuinely happy to help and not dismissive.

Dr. Rahul Deshmukh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, advanced arthroscopy, minimally invasive joint replacement and trauma. Dr. Deshmukh received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. During his time there, he served as the assistant physician for the Boston Celtics. As a Jacksonville native, Dr. Deshmukh is proud to bring his expertise as a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon to his local community. He is the current Chief of Orthopedics and Director of Orthopedic Center of Excellence for St. Vincent’s Southside. He also serves as the team physician for the Jacksonville Icemen hockey team.
When he’s not in the office he enjoys many outdoor activities including windsurfing, skydiving, water skiing, sailing, and scuba diving. He also loves to travel the world and learn new languages; he’s currently proficient in Spanish, French, Marathi, and Hindi.
