Very happy with my doctor. He did surgery on my left shoulder several years ago and I was extremely happy with the outcome come. Now he is keeping an eye on the right one.

When I need a specialist I search for excellence in education and training followed by experience. Dr. Deshmukh has an exemplary CV, which gave me the confidence to seek his evaluation and opinion of my condition. Furthermore, he is a keen listener and took the time to explain the underpinnings of my joint pain in a way that enabled me to make an informed decision about the recommended surgery. He treated me as a partner in this effort to restore my health and quality of life. I am so grateful to have found him.

Dr. Rahul Deshmukh is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, advanced arthroscopy, minimally invasive joint replacement and trauma. Dr. Deshmukh received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. During his time there, he served as the assistant physician for the Boston Celtics. As a Jacksonville native, Dr. Deshmukh is proud to bring his expertise as a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon to his local community. He is the current Chief of Orthopedics and Director of Orthopedic Center of Excellence for St. Vincent’s Southside. He also serves as the team physician for the Jacksonville Icemen hockey team.
