Dr. Rachel Ricafort-Alvarez is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been practicing for over 20 years. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and enjoys taking care of her patients and seeing them grow into young adults. Her former patients now bring their next generation children to see her. She has had the honor of being a Ruthies Awards winner for many years as favorite pediatrician as well as best pediatrician for Nashville Scene’s Music City Toast. She has been part of the Smyrna community for many years and has watched this small town grow. She focuses on comprehensive care, getting to know the patient and their families. She specializes in newborn care, well child care, as well as ADHD, and developmental disorders. She holds staff privileges at Stonecrest Medical Center, Centennial Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
