Dr. Rachel S. Day, D.O., earned her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency at the Geisinger Lewistown Rural Family Medicine Residency. She completed her undergraduate studies at Mount St. Mary’s University. She is also board-certified in family medicine.

Dr. Rachel S. Day, D.O., is a doctor of osteopathic medicine, board certified in family medicine. She grew up in Carlisle, PA before attending Mount St. Mary’s University, studying biology with minors in chemistry and history. During college, she worked part time in a local ER as a medical scribe. She then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, spending the didactic years in Philadelphia, and the clinical years in Danville, PA. She completed residency at the Geisinger Lewistown Rural Family Medicine Residency in Lewistown, PA and did continuity clinic in the FPC Mifflintown office. Dr. Day is also a cat mom to five rescue cats. When she is not at the clinic, Dr. Day enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football and baseball, crocheting, baking, vegetable gardening, and exploring local fairs and festivals.
