After residency, she completed an accredited 1-year fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
After gaining extensive hands-on robotic experience in fellowship, Dr. Alt returned to Phoenix to join a busy private practice group in 2020. Over the last 4 years, she has performed over 1200 surgeries including more than 600 robotic surgeries.
Dr. Alt relocated to Globe with her husband and two young sons to be closer to family and join the community in which they already have close ties.
Dr. Alt specializes in minimally invasive abdominal surgery and endoscopy. Typical surgical operations include hernia repair, gallbladder, colon (diverticulitis and cancer), bowel obstructions, adhesions, antireflux surgery, breast, skin lesions, colonoscopy, and EGD.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Alt enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping with her husband and sons, and spending time with family.
