Dr. Smith entered the room with a smile and an extended hand as he introduced himself. I immediately felt at ease. He thoroughly went over the test results and explained the options for surgery that would provide the best result for me. After talking with him, I feel very comfortable with the choice I made.

I actually saw a different Dr, I forgot his name but he is going to be opening the Louisville office. He did a great job. I also saw Dr Smith in December and he was great.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University in 1991 and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1995. He completed fellowships at Commonwealth Eye Surgery, Lexington, Kentucky, and at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Florida.
Dr. Smith has been an optometric physician at Commonwealth Eye Surgery since May of 1996. He either currently serves or has previously served as adjunct clinical professor for the University of Houston College of Optometry, Southern College of Optometry, Nova Southeastern College of Optometry, Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, Illinois College of Optometry, Indiana University School of Optometry, University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, and The Ohio State University School of Optometry.
