R. Mark Rodger, MD

Dr. Mark Rodger, M.D. practices in Wilmington at 3787 Shipyard Boulevard. He earned his medical degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in Canada. Dr. Rodger completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He completed his fellowship in Spine/Reconstructive Surgery, Saint Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Spinal Surgery, Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In addition to his fellowship training, Dr. Rodger is one of the first surgeons in North Carolina to train and perform artificial disc replacement for the cervical and lumbar spine. He specializes in cervical, lumbar and thoracic spine, minimally invasive spine surgery and robotic spine surgery including:
