I came with a specific health problem and shared the history. I expect a specialist to ask me questions, discuss if I have to undergo any tests since I said the tests were done last year and suggest what are various options. I was told it’s natural due to the age checking my file at that moment. If my medical situation is age based and nothing can be done except a standard medication, I would expect this to be told over the phone to me by the doctor, save me 3 hours of my time, the drive and the long wait of appointment. The experience is completely disappointing and makes me believe I chose the wrong place. Most importantly why am I paying so much when the advice is standard that I can get on a webmd. My regular physician was better understanding my case and suggest options. I sincerely request VA Urology to waive off all fees (copay, consultation etc). I will share this with my medical insurance company as well. Thank you for your consideration.

I was in with him for 5 minutes. He could have done this with a phone call instead of charging for an ov.
