Poor bedside manner. I felt like I was just a number in his day, he felt very rushed when I was there and didn’t even give me an opportunity to ask questions. It would’ve been nice to have him say hello and introduce himself when he walked in the room as well.

I am so happy I made the decision to come to Ozark Orthopedics. The other doctors I had seen had only given me anti inflammatory medications that did nothing to help my arm. I had been in pain for many months and when I switched to Dr. Benafield and his associate Dr. Deimel they started doing test on my arm and I finally had a diagnosis of a compressed ulnar nerve. We first tried non surgical options before determining that I needed surgery. Now after having surgery I am no longer having nerve pain and my arm is healing. After being in severe pain for almost a year and not being able to work, I am now a month of recovery away from being able to return to work without any pain. Thank you Dr. Benafield and Dr. Deimel, I am truly grateful to you both.

Dr seemed to be rushed during my appointments. The last appointment he Looked at his watch and seemed to be in a hurry.

I have had previous rotator cuff surgery with Dr. Benafield. When I found he aLao treats hand I decided to appoint with him again. Dr. Benefield explained concerns I had about my hand. He gave me reasonable options to treat, old me what would be involved with the healing if I chose surgery & the percentages for complete resolution of my condition. His delivery of the information was kind & not forceful in communicating the possible surgery. I appreciate his honesty & allowing me to make my own choice for treatment & I am confident in his surgical skills.

Would be advantageous to patients if Shoulder -42 Strengthening handout print was enlarged and clearer.

Dr. Benafield, is an excellent surgeon! 5 years ago he fixed my ruptured bicep tendon over the elbow, and will be working on my torn right rotator cuff, and then my torn left rotator cuff in due time. I trust him! I would and have recommended in the past!

My Carpal Tunnel surgery was a huge success. I followed instructions to the Tee. Sutures were removed today. I will be scheduling my other wrist soon. Two weeks since surgery and I have full use except for weight over 10 lbs. I could not be happier with the results.

Dr. Benafield performed surgery on my left forearm in January, 2023. He was personable with me and helped me to not be nervous before going into surgery. I knew I was in good hands. The surgery was a success and my healing process has been very good. As of March 2, 2023, I no longer have to wear my cast 24/7. In addition, kudos to Paul, my rehab therapist that helped me to get my left forearm back to normal with the hand exercises that he gave me.

Dr. Benafield was very helpful, helped me understand procedure he will be performing in blue coller language.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr, Benafield today. Unfortunately he was the bearer of bad news for me. I’m going to have surgery next week on my left wrist with two fractures.

Excellent Doctor, took the time to examine patient,(my mother) explain the type of injury that patient encountered and how he was going to proceed with surgery and after care. Also since patient’s injury was work related and worker’s comp case, Dr. Benafield treated my mother as a patient/ human being and not a body part / worker’s comp. case like most doctors do.

First time I’ve seen Dr Benafield with a broken hand. His office was efficient and dr was caring and explained everything well.
