He then finished his fellowship in Traumatology at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. Lutz was deployed with the Marines to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. He served as the Battalion Surgeon for the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton and received the Naval Commendation Medal.
