He then finished his fellowship in Traumatology at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. Lutz was deployed with the Marines to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. He served as the Battalion Surgeon for the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton and received the Naval Commendation Medal.

I went there for my right hipcand when I wentvto get xrays, the technician took xrays of my left hip. If I didn't say anything, she would've never did xrays of my right hip. Then I see Dr Lutz and I found out he isn't a hip surgeon, then he said he is a hip surgeon but only for trauma and if the hip is broken. Ok, so now i had to make ANOTHER appt for another hip surgeon. He tried to tell me it may not be my hip ( it is) I know my body, and it may be my lower back (its not). Whenever I had lower back pain, it is never on my right side where the cup of my hip is. I never had this pain before until someone gave me these tears in my labrum. I just wish a doctor understands the patient knows their body and listens to them and doesn't try to talk them into something that's not true.
