I was very pleased with my appointment today. I received so much information and anticipate more answers going forward.

Dr Curd has helped me for years. He explans what the problem is and what course of action we should do. Dr Curd's PA Chad Scott is top notch also.

To the point and gave a solution to try.

Dr clacked has a wonderful way of connecting with his patients. I was very Leary of receiving steroid shots and me I have had some bad and painful experiences with them in the past. He convinced me to try one wrist and promised it wouldn't been too awful. He was right. I then did the other wrist. I really feel comfortable around him and trust him.

Very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Total examination, evaluation and treatment was less than 15 minutes.

Dr. Curd was very thorough, patiently explained everything, answered all of my questions, and was never pushy about which treatment option to pursue. He was careful to gather all of the information necessary and then provide it to me before trying any form of treatment.

He said I'd have to try a cortisone shot in my wrist. Don't know if this is a Medicare have to or just him BUT being insulin dependant diabetic. My sugar levels were up to HI on my machine which is over 600 for my sugars. NOT GOOD but if I didn't do the injection I might not be able to have surgery by him in future if I need it ?? Medicare or him??

He is a wonderful doctor.

1st time patient. Dr. Curd took his time, explained everything in detail and is very personable. I had Xrays, consult, ultasound, injections and was sent down to therapy all done in about an hour.

Dr Curd is excellent! He’s doing hand surgery on my hand. He did the same kind of surgery on my other hand 7 years ago and it’s still great!

It is hard to rate someone who didn't appear for a scheduled appointment. I made the appointment with Dr. Curd because I heard he was a hand specialist. When I got to OI for my appointment we only saw his PA, who casually dismissed the problem and then sent us down to hand therapy for a splint. We sat there for over an hour and if my sister hadn't gone up to inquire, we'd probably sat there longer. I feel it was not very professional to pass a patient off to an assistant when the appointment was specifically made to see Dr.Curd.

In being flown in to your hospital following a head on collision with a drunk driver which took the life of my late husband and the young drunk driver I had the fight of my life to get back as much normalcy in using my hands as possible . Dr Curd was there for me, after 5 surgeries we both had tears at the end of that first year. You are so fortunate to have such a great Dr. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be under his care.

Nursing staff is super efficient, friendly and easy to talk to. When I told them my husband was at NC Heart hospital going to have a procedure, they were so accommodating to get me in and treated so I could get back to my husband
