From Dr. Curd
As a kid, I was fascinated by medicine. A family friend was an OR nurse and suggested I volunteer at my local hospital. I thought I wanted to become an emergency room doctor, but in medical school, I found that I really enjoyed orthopedics and surgery the most. I like helping fix people from the start of their treatment to their final recovery. I feel like the luckiest guy alive. It is an overused axiom, but I actually get to get up everyday and go to work doing multiple things I love—therefore I have never worked a day in my life!
