Very knowledgeable and personable, but there was no time to ask questions, another 1-2 minutes would be helpful. The preliminary doctor (intern?) that came in first was awful. He didn’t look up at all but just slumped over the desk staring at the paper. He seemed confused by the questions and my answers. He gave an inaccurate verbal account to the Dr of my medical history.

Dr Throckmorton performed surgery on my shoulder 7 years ago with excellent results. This visit was for an issue with my other shoulder. They took full X-rays of both shoulders and the Dr clearly identifies and explained my issue as well as options now and in the future. He answered all questions and is very kind. While I know he is busy, he does not give the impression of being rushed. Excellent.

They took off the splint that the hospital stable for my broken Humerus. Didn't have the proper DME equipment to restabilize my arm, so I left worse than I came. Had to wait 1hr 17min before being registered. Dr h Ad 3 rx on my Superbowl & no one called in my prescription. Lastly I have Ave left 4 messages over 2days with his MA and no response back.

Doctor Throckmorton is great...

I went in to the office and a young man rushed in (intern) for a moment; not questioned about the whole situation or complications; then rushed out. Dr Throckmorton rushed in accompanied by someone else in a lab coat. He spoke sarcastic about what my file said; not really questioning me just telling me his opinion. He never observed or even touched me. I was referred to another doctor for my neck, but it is my triceps area in my shoulder that hurts. I was very disappointed and do t feel he performed medical treatment.

I’m sure the doctor is a very nice person, but he wasn’t in the room with me long enough for me to know. I’ve worked with doctors for 33 years - I know how it works. However, even if the patient’s issue is very straightforward, the MD needs to at least ACT like it’s important. Again, the doctor was not mean or rude, just very uninterested.

Dr Throckmorton just did my second total reverse shoulder replacement. After finding out my sockets never formed and several specialists, Dr Throckmorton was able to help me. Great job in my care making sure I understood how the procedure could help me. He was confident in figuring out what I needed. I’m unusual in my birth defect. But he’s given me the use of my arms again and looking forward to being as Pain free as possible. I’m grateful for his knowledge and skill as a orthopedic

I highly recommend him for any shoulder issues. I was unable to raise my arm due to the excruciating pain in my shoulder when I initially visited Campbell Clinic . Dr. Throckmorton repaired my rotator cuff tear and I'm now at my 6 month recovery mark and I can completely move and rotate my arm without pain. Great surgeon!

He’s the best Orthopedic surgeon I ever encountered. OUTSTANDING customer service & patient care skills!!!

Appointment was at 1300. Called to back at 1338. Saw PA at 1404. He was very apologetic and seems to be a good guy but the explanation was unacceptable. It seems that the Collierville location "dumped" 4 walk-ins on him. Not his fault, but walk ins should never delay a scheduled appointment. I drive about 1.5 hours to the clinic.
