Priya Sasankan, MD

Medical Associates of Brevard is delighted to welcome Dr. Priya Sasankan, M.D., to our team of caring professionals. Dr. Sasankan is a board-certified internist and board-eligiblble gastroenterologist. A native of Buffalo, New York, Dr. Sasankan earned her MD and MBA degrees from the University at Buffalo. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by gastroenterology fellowship at the University
of Florida.

Dr. Sasankan's clinical interests include colorectal cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and gastrointestinal motility disorders. She has authored peer-reviewed research and presented work at national conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based gastroenterology care.
