Dr. Priya Mathur, M.D., joined NOVAMED Associates in January 2023. Since 2008 Dr. Mathur has worked for The Permanente Medical Group (Kaiser). From 2008-2010 she worked out of Kaiser’s West Los Angeles, CA office and since 2010 she has worked at Kaiser’s Manassas, VA office. In Manassas she served as Team Leader for a group of nine internists, served as Co-Chair of the Northern Virginia Wellness Committee, and produced superior patient satisfaction scores. She has a passion for lifestyle medicine, preventative care and building strong relationships with her patients and has previously been named as a Washington Post Super Doctors Rising Star and in the Top Doctor issue of Northern Virginia Magazine.
Dr. Mathur grew up in Bel Air, MD and has lived in Fairfax, VA since 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, two young children, Asha and Kameron, extended family, and local community of friends. She likes to stay active by practicing yoga, running, and learning how to play tennis. Her weekends are typically spent on sports or dance activities with her kids or trying new restaurants and exploring local activities and events with her family.
