My former doctor left his practice about six months ago, and Dr. Parikh was very honest about the course of treatment I might need in the future, but for now, nothing needs to be done for my varicose veins. He was pleasant and reassuring. An asset to the already wonderful medical professionals I have dealt with over the nearly 20 years I have met with since I had my pulmonary embolism. Both my husband and I have been Midwest Cardiovascular patients for years, originally recommended to us 38 years ago by Dr. Gus Ormbreck from the OLD Elmhurst Hospital.

As a doctor he was very good understood why I came in, and explained everything to me. He said I needed an over the knee compression sock, and I bought one from the practice. However, they didn’t tell me that they don’t carry those, and his nurse brought me an under-the-knee sock, and said the doctor said it was ok. Didn’t work, so I had to bring it bac and find a the right sock elsewhere.

Doesn’t take time to explain options or procedures.
