He practices patient-centered care, and his treatment planning begins with an integrated approach between patients and the entire medical care team. He has also been actively involved in research with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has written several book chapters, including efforts which are represented in American Heart Association guidelines. He highly specialized expertise in limb preservation, including patients seeking a second opinion after being told that amputation is their only option. Performs complex revascularization utilizing outpatient, minimally invasive endovascular plaque removal/de-bulking devices and technology, stents, balloons and pedal access – and open surgical bypasses resulting in saving both limbs and lives. Aortic aneurysm stent and open repair, especially percutaneous (<1cm incision) stent repair of aneurysms, carotid stents and endarterectomies for patients with carotid disease, venous ablation for varicose veins and ulcers, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and IVC filter placement and pulmonary thrombectomy for blood clots.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family, watch movies and soccer, learn golf and piano, and travel.
