The doctor was nice with the nurse practitioner, maybe uneasy not sure that they are fully aware of my concerns because they were willing to do a procedure without even having x-rays and that took me back a lot. I would think you need to do some type of x-rays before doing a medical procedure. But they did give me a referral. He was in the room less than two minutes.

My 95 year old mother had a very pleasant first visit with Dr Prateek. She didn’t even know that her procedure was done until it was over. Thank you SOOO VERY MUCH. We really look forward to a blessed outcome of our visits.

Dr. Prateek Gupta, M.D. is a surgeon with board certification in vascular surgery from the American Board of Surgery. He practices patient-centered care, and his treatment planning begins with an integrated approach between patients and the entire medical care team. He has also been actively involved in research with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has written several book chapters, including efforts which are represented in American Heart Association guidelines. He has also taught and trained physicians around the country on endovascular techniques for limb preservation.
He highly specialized expertise in limb preservation, including patients seeking a second opinion after being told that amputation is their only option. Performs complex revascularization utilizing outpatient, minimally invasive endovascular plaque removal/de-bulking devices and technology, stents, balloons and pedal access – and open surgical bypasses resulting in saving both limbs and lives. Aortic aneurysm stent and open repair, especially percutaneous (<1cm incision) stent repair of aneurysms, carotid stents and endarterectomies for patients with carotid disease, venous ablation for varicose veins and ulcers, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and IVC filter placement and pulmonary thrombectomy for blood clots.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family, watch movies and soccer, learn golf and piano, and travel.
