Dr. Gupta was very nice, He explained everything so that we could understand from what was wrong to what needed to be done to resolve the issue. He also appeared to be focused on only us at that time not like he was rushing. He was reassuring that things could be better. We appreciate the honesty & making us feel like people not just patients.

The doctor, staff, and service was excellent. Surgery was for GAE procedure on my left knee that went smoothly. Right knee scheduled for the end of this month. I really loved how I was treated. Thanks to all!

He specializes in limb preservation and he sees patients from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas at Vascular and Vein Institute of the South. Appointments are available in Germantown, Tennessee, and Senatobia and Oxford, Mississippi.
He practices patient-centered care, and his treatment planning begins with an integrated approach between patients and the entire medical care team. He has also been actively involved in research with more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has written several book chapters, including efforts which are represented in American Heart Association guidelines. He has also taught and trained physicians around the country on endovascular techniques for limb preservation.
He highly specialized expertise in limb preservation, including patients seeking a second opinion after being told that amputation is their only option. Performs complex revascularization utilizing outpatient, minimally invasive endovascular plaque removal/de-bulking devices and technology, stents, balloons and pedal access – and open surgical bypasses resulting in saving both limbs and lives. Aortic aneurysm stent and open repair, especially percutaneous (<1cm incision) stent repair of aneurysms, carotid stents and endarterectomies for patients with carotid disease, venous ablation for varicose veins and ulcers, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and IVC filter placement and pulmonary thrombectomy for blood clots.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family, watch movies and soccer, learn golf and piano, and travel.
