He specializes in Birmingham Hip Resurfacing, an innovative procedure that replaces the damaged surface of the hip joint with a high-carbide, cobalt chrome.
He believes in balancing common sense approaches to care with the latest orthopedic technologies. At his practice, patients have a vital role in the decision-making once he has presented them with options and recommendations. Amazing Team! Veronica and Stephanie went above and beyond to get me ready for my BHR procedure and answered every question afterwards. Dr. Schmitt provided the best surgeon experience from start to finish I have ever had. The surgery center and staff there were excellent. He is the GOAT when it comes to this BHR procedure and I am amazed that more men don't consider this before succumbing to a hip replacement. Thank you all!
