Dr. Phanicharan Sistla, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2013. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Tufts Medical Center, Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Iowa, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois.
Previously, he worked at the University of Iowa for two years as a Cardiovascular Hospitalist.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI), and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC).
Dr. Sistla joined Cardiovascular Medicine in October 2023. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Iowa and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Moline, Bettendorf, and Clinton locations. He has staff privileges at UnityPoint Health Trinity and MercyOne Genesis Medical Centers.
