Dr. Rice is an excellent pediatrician. He cares for his patients & also the parents. He's friendly, welcoming, informative & knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone looking for a "No BS" pediatrician who will give it to you straight. He encourages parents to be fully involved with the treatment of the children. Amazing.

However, an unexpected opportunity arose when he was accepted into Stanford University for graduate school, where he achieved a Ph.D. in biophysical chemistry.
Following his time at Stanford, Dr. Rice continued his pursuit of a medical career at the University of California Irvine medical school, earning his Medical Degree in 1995. He holds a certification in Pediatrics and is honored to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In his practice, Dr. Rice goes beyond routine check-ups and medical care. He takes the time to engage with his young patients and their parents, stressing the importance of reading and encouraging outdoor exploration.
