After graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Maurus went on to complete his residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery under Roger A. Mann, M.D., in Oakland, California.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Maurus enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, spending time with his family, painting, and watching college football.

Efficient and capable. He adjusted to look at my other foot too even though the appointment was for just one.
I was impressed that he knew immediately what my problem is. I plan to come back to his office to complete the steps I need to fix the problem.

Always goes above and beyond for his patients.
He was prompt and efficient. He clearly described the problem and possible treatment avenues. The work flow was flawless. I was xrayed, treated, dispensed an orthotic and discharged within 30 minutes.
I feel like he is always in a hurry.
