After graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Maurus went on to complete his residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery under Roger A. Mann, M.D., in Oakland, California.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Maurus enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, spending time with his family, painting, and watching college football.

He was a in rush. Didn't ask if I had any questions. Didn't provide after post op equipment. Said I could return to work but no restrictions on what can and can't be done. He was in and out under five minutes.

Dr Maurus has been excellent. I’m on pace to return to full duty at work after an achilles rupture. If all goes well I will return in a mere 4 months and 1 week at 42 years old.
