Dr. Peter Maurus is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializing in the foot and ankle. Dr. Maurus began practicing at Steindler Orthopedic Clinic in January 2007.
After graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Maurus went on to complete his residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery under Roger A. Mann, M.D., in Oakland, California.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Maurus enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, spending time with his family, painting, and watching college football.

All good. Timely, thorough, good explanations of my situation. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Fantastic experience. This was a 2nd opinion on my ankle. He even recommended the same step forward, but helped explain the outcome and prognosis more accurately. However, he is also looking into an alternate procedure with a colleague to determine the best course of action for my particular case. Not just limping me into the bucket of all similar or worse issues.
Very competent and very personable. Diagnosed the problem quickly and provided a solution that seems to be working quite well.
I very much appreciate the awesome medical care I received from Dr Peter Maurus, I find the staff receptionist and all people I meet in the office to be very polite and helpful. A very well run office.
