After graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Maurus went on to complete his residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery under Roger A. Mann, M.D., in Oakland, California.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Maurus enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, spending time with his family, painting, and watching college football.

Great at explaining what is going on
The last two times he has been late by more than 25 min and my appt has been at 8am
Dr. Peter Maurus has an amazing Physician. I only wish he had more time to spend with his patients at follow up visits.
Didnt feel he took time to really assess my foot. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes
He’s fantastic! Recommend him a lot to people.
