Dr. Looby is the best.

I visited with the PA for most of the time and he gave me an injection to my left shoulder. Everything was explained very well. I only talked to the doc for about 2 minutes and he explained very well!

I could see from the x-rays that I was bone on bone in some places in my knee. He offered me several treatments and talked about over-the-counter pain pills and once I told him I couldn’t take ibuprofen or Tylenol. He told me about some generic pain pills like turmeric and fish oil and then he offered a Cortizone shot which I took so I was very happy.

This place is awesome! The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. (However, Dr didn’t check with me about his vacation time. lol)

Disappointed in my visit as I didn't even get to meet with Dr. Looby. Joel was a great PA but spent very little time talking about what I can start doing for my knees. He did however get the prescription and shots at record speed. I would have liked to go over some things that could help rather than slapping a Bandaid on the problem and then sending me out. I felt like just another person to them instead of someone that is facing very real limitations at 37 years old that they could help.

Dr. Looby was amazing. He is very kind and very friendly. He explained everything so I could understand before and after my surgery. Did an amazing job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Did not feel pressured into having knee surgery right away. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. Glad I made the decision to have them take care of me.

He didn’t really listen to me. Treated me as though I didn’t know what I was talking about when I knew what the problem was. Basically ignored what I had to say. Just wanted to rush me into surgery before even knowing what he was dealing with.

Dr Looby has done shoulder surgery on both my husband and I. We are pleased with the work he has done!

Very pleased with the results of the knee scope. Dr Looby said it would be 4 days of recovery and it was. The complete recovery and healing is still on going and will be for awhile, but pain and discomfort has been dramatically reduced.

Dr. Looby is a great doctor, but in ways I feel that he might be focused on numbers rather than the patient's quality of life. I'll follow his lead because he had always done my surgeries, but I still felt dismissed based on my weight.

Friendly and on time

Good surgeon, but he knows nothing about physical therapy and has made some bad recommendations post surgery. He said "you can do whatever you want with that arm". Physical therapist says "no you can't" Then post muscle strain he said " do nothing for 4 weeks" therapist said " you have to do some minor exercises so it doesnt lock up

Thorough but efficient and explains everything so you understand what is wrong and the plan do address the issue. Doesn't waste time recommending more than what is needed (i.e. tests, surgery).
