We read negative reviews prior to appt and already anticipated the doctor to have a dismissive demeanor. This was accurate and although he was not outright rude, it's important patients/families are prepared for this type of "bedside" manner. He is fairly knowledgeable and straightforward, but would not recommend for patients expecting someone who is sensitive or empathetic. It may work for some people/personalities.

Dr. Peter Heilbroner joined Neurology Group in 1998. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1993. He completed his Pediatric neurology residency at New York University in 1997. He received a Ph.D. from the Department of Anthropology at Columbia University, New York City, in 1989. Dr. Heilbroner's special interests within the practice include Pediatric Neurology, Neurobehavioral Medicine, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and young adults, and interpretation of pediatric Cognitive Testing.
