He is a terrific orthopedic surgeon. I have been a patient for approximately 6+/- years. He has been treating me with injections. I now will undergo thumb surgery with him. He has never pressed me to surgery. I made that decision myself. I knew my arthritis had progressed. His staff is exceptional.

Dr Vizzi is very kind and caring. He is very knowledgeable. He took the time needed to address my concerns and questions. I felt very comfortable with his recommendation to surgically repair my fracture. Even though I didn’t say anything about my mom’s signature tattoo he had to cut through, he made sure he did his best to suture it up nicely and it looks perfect! Physical therapy was done there as well. The staff was amazing and Amy was very supportive and knowledgeable in her therapy skills.

He’s very professional but at the same time he makes sure he’s speaking so the patient understands him. He is very thorough and patiently lets you ask questions. He answers them completely. He is also very gentle which is a good trait in any doctor.

Patient & gave detailed instructions on what to expect. Was shocked at first but his demeanor calmed me. And Ann was really helpful. I look forward to the procedure & being able to be pain free.

I shattered my humorous bone and Dr. Vizzi performed my surgery in June 2021. I haven't recovered my full range of motion yet, but I am still in therapy at this time. Thanks to Dr. Vizzi I am able to return to doing my daily activities with no pain.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vizzi for over 10+ years. I have had numerous issues with carpal/cubital tunnel and multiple trigger fingers in both of my arms and hands. After several cortisone shots, he recommended surgery for my constant and reoccurring pain. I must say that I have been pain free since the operations thanks to his expert diagnosis and treatment. I know Lafayette has numerous and well recognized orthopedic doctors, but I truly believe that Dr. Vizzi ranks as one of the best in the entire Acadiana region!
