I felt dismissed and was told I shouldn’t have gone to the emergency room if it wasn’t an emergency. I was in a lot of pain my lower back, I had a high fever, and trying to sleep has been a problem because of my constant urination and often at work I pee a little in myself because if the pressure I feel on my bladder. When I went to the ER I was diagnosed with fibroids and was told to follow up with a gynecologist in town. I was in the room waiting for almost two hours and when I was seen they were supposed to also do a ct scan on me but only a Pap smear was done. I just want to know how I can get help. It’s been a year now and my constant urination, fatigue, and stress levels are high.

Perla was rude and unprofessional, and the way I was spoken to was disrespectful. My concerns were not properly addressed, which was the primary reason for my visit. The appointment also felt rushed, leaving me without the guidance or support I was seeking. I left the office feeling upset and in tears.

Great at communicating each step of a procedure which I greatly appreciate. Overall happy with my appointment and will be keeping her as my primary women’s health doctor if possible.

I’ve been with her for 5 years and she’s been amazing, excellent, and wonderful doctor, the best I could’ve asked for. She’s been always considerate and caring. She’s the best there is in both profession and care. I appreciate everything that you’ve done for me, thank you.

While visiting Perla for a post partum visit she offered birth control. I kindly responded with birth control pills. She then proceeded to state if I was sure considering I have 6 kids. She offered other birth control as well as tubal ligation or vasectomy. I personally think her comment regarding 6 kids was unnecessary and none of her business. Little does she know 3 of those children are not my biological children and were result of a surrogacy. Again, either way if I had 20 children it would not be any of her business for her to push contraceptives if I decline. The comment regarding 6 children was absolutely unnecessary.
