Dr. Pedro M. Ramirez, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon.
Dr. Ramirez completed his medical education at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, followed by a general surgery training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of New Mexico.
He is trained in General Neurosurgery and Critical Care and has an enfolded fellowship in Spine Surgery. Dr. Ramirez has received the "UNM Neuroscience" Award for resident research. He has been published in peer-review journals and has lectured nationally and internationally in neurosurgical forums. He has written book chapters such as Neurosurgery Knowledge Update: Brain Abscess.

Dr. Ramirez is a great doctor. He takes his time and listens to your issues. Then he tells you what he sees and comes up with solutions for your problems. He discusses them with you so you understand what he is talking about. he listens to any concerns and any questions that you have about what is going on. His office staff is wonderful. They are extremely efficient and helpful with any questions or any issues that may arise at any time.
Very good bed side manner.
