With over a decade of experience in general orthopedics, Dr. Telehowski specializes in joint replacement, trauma, and sports medicine. Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Telehowski completed his undergraduate degree in science and chemistry from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Telehowski continued his post-education with general surgery residency and orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Regional Center in Flint. He joined the OrthoMichigan family in 2004. When he’s not in the operating room, Dr. Telehowski enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for the Tigers, Red Wings and Lions.

This guy in the picture must be an imposter. The very “fit” man I visited needs an updated picture. I liked his straight-forwardness. Quite frank but this is not my first rodeo. I know what I’m in for. I’ve learned that you can count on getting a good surgeon by their lack of bedside manner. However, this rare gem is able to display both experience and warmth and a sense of much-needed humor. I’m looking forward to having him use his knowledge and skills to replace my knee. I just hope he picks out a great knee. The exact one he’d prefer his loved-one to have. I hope you don’t get them from China?!

Hes great put me at ease
He took considerate care of my wife and me following a motorcycle collision with hand and arm injuries. I'm currently scheduling right hip replacement with him because he impresses and is pleasant to communicate with.
Friendly and let me know how I was doing
Very personable and a great knee replacement surgeon. I stopped using a cane/walker less than 2 weeks and by end of 3rd week I was at 120 angle bend. No pain or swelling after 6 weeks, an incredible experience!

My first time apt.with Dr. Telehowski,very grateful and impressed,with his kindness knowledge and incredible patience with all my questions and concerns about my extremely painful issue with my left knee. He is very comforting and made me actually looking forward to get my knee replaced,which is a hot mess. Everyone there is also very professional as Dr. PAUL Staff very kind and very helpful,understanding. So happy I went there and relieved of lots of fear I had. Thank you so very much!!
