Excellent caring doctor; makes every attempt to get at the root of the pain for proper treatment. The reason for a 4 instead of 5 is that the office is so busy it sometimes feels a bit too rushed.

Waited an hour to see him, he’s very good, everything else was really poor

Good informative Dr, i explained my thoracic spine pain and the details of how long and everything I’ve done and have been doing. He looked at my CT scan and MRI and said it all looked good and i was give physical therapy and to continue taking up to 3000mg on Tylenol per day for pain.

Dr. Satia literally turned my life around over 10 years ago. He significantly reduced my back pain and successfully replaced my hydrocodon with non opioids overnight. Years later, he is still helping to address issues that have developed as I age.

Usually I feel like I am being heard by Dr Satia, but this last visit left me feeling a bit dismissed. I realize the doctor is very busy, but the procedure being considered for my issues is very frightening and I’m am very apprehensive. I am not sure if I want to return for that treatment.

Male nurse could have been more cordial and doctor asked medical questions that as a nonmedical patient I wouldn't know. Main concern was how brusque the nurse was.

Dr. Satia is wonderful but the time between needed procedures runs up to four weeks leaving me, the patient innumber 6 - 8 pain. Not a good memory. Bobby Estrin, Ph.D.

Gives patient the time to ask questions and the time to understand his explanations. Paul never rushes out to tend to other patients or other business.

Wonderful visit. Dr. Satia listened carefully and had a true sense of my pain and discomfort.

I felt like the doctor was not to interested in listening to my discomforts of the medication he was prescribing. He listened said one thing and went ahead and just wrote the same prescription again. He then said I will be back in 2 minutes went outside the exam room and then sent the nurse back in with the prescription and a checkout sheet. I feel that because I am on workman's comp. The agenda has already been planned as to the outcome. My case manager probably has more information than I do.

Dr. Satia speaks so that i understand what is relevant, show concern and is a sterling example of how a doctor needs to communicate with patients...he is authentic and caring and actually remembers us as people, not just numbers on a data chart. i like Dr. Satia, and here is something else. I have met other people who are treated by Dr. Satia, and all of us share the same enthusiasm for his care!
