As Chief of Sports Medicine & Shoulder Surgery, he treats shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, and ankle injuries—leveraging advanced arthroscopy, cartilage-preserving procedures, modern shoulder-replacement techniques, and the latest stem-cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) biologics to return athletes and active adults to peak performance.

A native of Tenafly, NJ, Dr. Rothenberg played collegiate football at Union College before graduating Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic-surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System and a sports-medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital / LIJ Medical Center.

My opinion of Dr. Paul Rothenberg is I am completely comfortable with him as my orthopedic doctor / surgeon. I like how explains any of my test results where I am able to understand . I also like him for his personality, professionalism 🙂
Great attention! Dr. Paul is very professional.
I never felt like i got a clear understanding of thr couse of action he thought we shoukd take.. Used more medical terminology than "laymen's" terms and thought the visit was okay at best.
