Dr. Paul Roettges is a First Coast native and a graduate of the University of Southern California. He received his medical degree from Loyola University. He went on to study Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and completed his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Roettges performs hip and knee replacements and has additional training and interest in anterior hip replacements, revisions, as well as complex unresolved hip and knee pain.
Dr. Roettges treats all disorders of the hip and knee, including degenerative, traumatic, infectious, and congenital. He specializes in the evaluation of painful or malfunctioning joint replacements to see if revision surgery could improve the function and quality of life for the patient.
Dr. Roettges strives to take time with each patient to thoroughly review their condition, imaging studies and treatment plan. This allows the patient to make the most educated decisions about their medical care that fits their best interests and needs.

This was my final visit after having both hips replaced this year. My life has changed dramatically. I had no problems with either hip other than normal surgery recovery. I am able to climb stairs, walk long distances and enjoy my grandchildren with no hip pain at all. I am 100% happy with both the clinic and Dr. R.
Thankyou Dr. Roettges for giving me new knees! You did the right and left total knee replacement on both knees and I am very happy with the outcome! Now it's my husband's turn!
