I found him to be very friendly and sociable, and he answered all of my questions, any answered them in a way that was easy to understand. Not to mention, I asked about him to some patient in the waiting room that saw him as a doctor also and they only had good things to say about him.

We had the pleasure of meeting the doctor and surgery was needed . So we got the date the same day of the office visit. Dr. was very direct in getting the knee replacement done.

Dr. Roettges performed my hip and knee surgery and I have returned to all activities at the age of 68. I am truly grateful for his skills and his supporting outstanding staff.

Dr. Paul Roettges is a First Coast native and a graduate of the University of Southern California. He received his medical degree from Loyola University. He went on to study Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona and completed his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Roettges performs hip and knee replacements and has additional training and interest in anterior hip replacements, revisions, as well as complex unresolved hip and knee pain.
Dr. Roettges treats all disorders of the hip and knee, including degenerative, traumatic, infectious, and congenital. He specializes in the evaluation of painful or malfunctioning joint replacements to see if revision surgery could improve the function and quality of life for the patient.
Dr. Roettges strives to take time with each patient to thoroughly review their condition, imaging studies and treatment plan. This allows the patient to make the most educated decisions about their medical care that fits their best interests and needs.
