On my 3 month post surgery total knee replacement visit, Dr. Roettges spent almost 1/2 hour with me, addressing ALL of my questions and concerns. I know he had a full schedule, but he listened!

My knee replacement went great and he replaced both knees of a good friend! Ive never had to wait at all of my appointments and the entire group is super nice and professional! Good surgeon but shows little emotion or concern about the pain and discomfort you are experiencing status post 4 months hip replacement surgery. Non-emotional response was to take prednisone and see him in 8 months. O follow up to see if the prednisone was effective planned. No planned outreach by staff to you to explore other options if the prednisone doesn’t alleviate your pain JUST, see you in 8 months. Disappointed to say the least.

Prescribed some pain medication, as I wait for a bone scan and then make a follow-up appointment. Meanwhile I continue to have swelling with out any real relief. Explained that the implant could be detaching from the bone and/or there could be an infection. Ordered labs.

Everyone that came in after me was taken care of. One of the girls was apparently shocked to see me still there and she got someone to take me to a treatment room. Then I sat for another 15 minutes until I got up and left. A total waste of my time, over an hour for nothing and it cost me $35 . The Dr. Called me and apologized and went over the results of the MRI . But it was a very bad experience and left me very upset.

I heard a lot of great things about doctor before my first appointment. I barely saw doctor for less than five minutes, and that's being generous with actual contact time, for each of my visits. I don't feel like he addressed my knee and pain issues, "it is what is is" attitude, and basically felt like I was not heard - just plain brushed off, and off he went. A complete waste of my time and resources!!

Dr. Roettges, Professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Not to mention the office is efficient and the staff are also kind and helpful.

His professionalism is to be lauded and also his reassuring explanations for the prospect of a knee replacement. The doctor exudes an aura of confidence and has a calming effect on the prospective patient and recipient.

Compassionate & understanding with a great personality & appears to be very knowledgeable. Did not push surgery but explained my options. I was expecting to be sent for later appointment with pain management but instead the doctor gave me prednisone injections in both knees right then! .

Dr. R. is obviously qualified and confident in his abilities. I requested a partial knee replacement possibility and was told total only thing that could be done. A little more time showing the xrays and explaining why not a candidtate for partial knee would have been helpful. Also, all info on internet indicates partial knee resufacing is very successful but Dr. R. did not have a very high opinion of the procedure which leads me to believe he would rather just do the total knee.

I will not be recommding Dr. Roettges. He really does not listen to what you are saying. Seems to his mind set on certain medications and you can just take or not. Mostly, does NOT listen. Surgery went OK, no complaints there. Just seems to have no interest in patients. I will look elsewhere.

I’m so pleased that I chose Dr. Roettges as my surgeon. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes time to explain what I would experience having a total knee replacement and very kind.

My hip replacement was a success, beginning to end.

Dr Roettges was great. I didn’t like the front office. It is too small and very noisy. Maybe some soundboards would muffle some of the noise.
