Dr. Paul Rayward, M.D. built the foundation for his surgical career by earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame, where he gained early exposure to athletic medicine while working alongside the university's sports medicine staff and trainers. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Rayward then completed an extensive podiatric surgery residency with Northwell Health across Queens and Long Island, holding the distinction of Chief Resident during his training. Furthering his advanced clinical expertise, he completed subspecialty fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. He is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and holds Associate status (AACFAS) with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Paul Rayward, M.D. is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon. After being born and raised in New York, he attended the University of Notre Dame. While earning his undergraduate degree, he had the opportunity to work alongside the athletic department’s doctors and trainers, which further promoted his interest in sports medicine.
Dr. Rayward later earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. While enrolled, he was heavily involved in academics and student leadership. He then returned to New York to complete his surgical residency with Northwell Health in Queens and Long Island, where he ultimately served as Chief Resident.
In practice, Dr. Rayward is committed to compassionate and empathetic care for all patients, and ensuring that patients always feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. Outside of work, he enjoys remaining active and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
