“I chose orthopaedics because I prefer interacting with a wide variety of patients, from the young to the elderly, in a way that allows me to improve their quality of life. I enjoy helping patients get better, get stronger and have less pain. I enjoy the opportunity to return patients to their pre-injury level of activity, whether it’s golf, tennis, hiking or whatever their leisure or sport activity may be.”
“For me, the patient always comes first. Most patients have already done extensive research into their condition prior to seeing me. I believe that an interactive approach with patients will lead us to a mutually agreed upon treatment plan. I hope to give my patients the opportunity for an improved quality of life with less pain, better function and improved outlook for their future.”
In his free time, Dr. Pflueger supports Yavapai Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Arizona, the YMCA and Yavapai Regional Medical Center. He believes in exercise and personal fitness, and his hobbies include exercise, fly-fishing, woodworking and family activities.

Visit was for a knee injury. He was professional, thorough, and friendly. He actually remembered me from a 2022 shoulder injury. He gave recommendations on avoiding a chronic problems, given my advanced age.

Dr Pflueger was very knowledgeable and diagnosed me quickly after a couple of xrays. He did not send me for any unnecessary testing as it was extremely clear from the xrays. He gave me my options and answered my questions thoroughly. He was very personable.
