Their scheduling department is beyond inept. I did NOT have an appointment with Dr. Pagano ...I was meeting with another person for a mere follow-up. However, this was not only NOT caught by Dr. Pagano's staff, but I was shuffled in to the X-ray room for four unnecessary x-rays. Now I'm running an hour and 25 minutes late from my appt time. Another PA for Dr. Pagano came in, and when I basically asked what the h*ll was going on, the PA unraveled this total SNAFU in my appointment. After an hour and 45 min I had my actual appt with my proper PA. The PA explained the corporate decision that created the issue, and made sure I was not charged for the unnecessary X-rays.
While I never had ANY meeting with Dr. Pagano personally, I was asked to review my experience. Instead of a quick 10 minute follow up, I wasted just under two hours due to the total internal scheduling screwup. Thankfully...I enjoy working with my correct PA, and the other doctor I've trusted with my medical situation.

Dr Pagano is so very compassionate,authentic,extremely skilled,sincere bed side manner and a true blessing!!! Dr Pagano saved my life!!! I can walk,drive,do chores and enjoy life again. I couldn't even turn over in bed,sit or stand. I am eternally grateful!!!!

Dr. Pagano is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a sub-specialty in Spine Surgery.
Dr. Pagano received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 and received his medical degree at the Ohio State University in 1995. Dr. Pagano completed his internship and orthopaedic residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2000.
Following his residency, Dr. Pagano performed a two-part Orthopaedic Spine fellowship with Dr. Richard Holt in Louisville, Kentucky and the late Dr. Thomas Whitecloud at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Pagano continues to use his engineering background as an active medical consultant holding patents in the field of spine surgery. He has also been an instructor in minimally invasive spinal surgery.
Dr. Pagano is a native of the Youngstown, Ohio where he practiced for 13 years until relocating to the St. Petersburg area with his family in 2013.
