Dr. Paul Nguyen, D.O., earned his undergraduate degree from U.C. San Diego and his medical degree from Des Moines University. He completed his surgical internship and residency at Saint John Macomb Hospital in Detroit, MI. He specializes in general surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, hernias, gallbladder, colon, breast, bariatric weight loss surgery, and endoscopy. He performed the first weight-loss surgery in Santa Cruz.
