Dr. Paul Knoepflmacher spent three years in Costa Rica in the United States Peace Corps. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey: New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, where he was honored for overall excellence in patient care. He completed an internship and residency in the Department of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, during which time he received the prestigious Richard Gorlin award for resident humanitarianism. Following his residency, he was selected to serve as a chief resident at Mount Sinai in the Department of Medicine.
Dr. Knoepflmacher has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2000.
