Dr. Paul DesRosiers, M.D., has been practicing medicine and providing radiation therapy for all types of cancer over the last 22 years and now concentrates his skills and knowledge at Advanced Urology with prostate cancer patients.
Dr. DesRosiers graduated from the University of Illinois, rotating through Champaign/Urbana, Rockford and Chicago. Dr. DesRosiers completed his radiation oncology residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before he attended medical school, he studied medical radiation physics where he met his wife, who went on to become a medical physicist.
Dr. DesRosiers loves all kinds of music but has a special interest in Jazz. He plays many instruments including guitar, bass, piano and is currently practicing trumpet.
Glad this doctor was recommended to me. I like him as much as Heavy Metal Music!!!!!
Dr Paul takes the time to sit down and talk to you. He does rush the appointment. He explains every and makes sure you understand it.

Dr. D truly cares about his patients. Facing a cancer diagnosis is an incredibly daytime in anyone's life, but Dr. D provided consistent comfort and guidance throughout, always showing empathy, while creating positivity. While I am overjoyed I am currently cancer-free, I feel a sense of sadness knowing today marked my final appointment with Dr.D...
He was down to earth and let me know all my options and explained it to me perfectly
